Rapper Shyne was once a gun-toating, cocaine selling gangsta rapper who mocked 50 Cent for allegedly working with the police.
He did 10 years in prison, moved to Belize, became an Orthodox Jew, and recently just won his first political election.
On Wednesday, Belize held its national elections and Shyne's dad (Dean Barrow), who is also the Prime Minister, will be replaced by John Briceño of the People's United Party.
But in good news, Moses "Shyne" Barrow, won the Mesopotamia seat in Belize City for the House of Representatives, and his sister, Denise "Sista B" Barrow, won the Queen's Square constituency.
Shyne hit Instagram to express his excitement and joy after winning the election.
