Philly emcee Mike Watts, who's worked with Bun B, Bizzy Bone, and Paul Wall, was arrested last week for human trafficking.
According to police, he lured a woman from Houston to Philly with promises of a modeling contract. But instead Watts told her "she belonged to him now, threatened that there would be consequences if she tried to leave and took away her cellphone and money."
Then the 43-year old demanded that she begin dancing at a local strip club The Cove. When she balked, Watts had two other woman forcible strip her. Staysha L. Hackmann, 25, and Michelle Rolon, 21, also allegedly chased the woman down by car when she tried to flee Watts' apartment.
She was eventually able to escape and contacted the authorities.
Watts spent 2008 to 2013 in a federal prison for running a prostitution business and laundering $4 million.
Watts -- who's not to be confused with Houston's own Michael 5000 Watts -- doesn't seem to have been rapping since his release from prison.
