On Tuesday night, Houston emcee Doughbreezy thought he was going over to his friend's house for a visit. He ended up walking right into a home invasion.
One of the two robbers pointed a gun to Doughbreezy (Tai Carr's) face and then pistol whipped him. In the chaos, Doughbeezy managed to leave the home and go back to his car. The 28-year old returned with his gun and shot one of the robbers dead. The other robber fled, and police arrested 23-year-old Marquez Romero Heckard at a nearby Wendy's.
"I definitely see Doughbeezy as a hero," said rapper Paul Wall, who was interviewed when he checked up on Doughbeezy at the hospital yesterday.
Doughbeezy thanked his well-wishers in a Twitter message.
