Rapper 'Donkey Cartel' Killed In Mall By Off-Duty Cop After Gun Fight

by HHL Editors

Daquan Antonio Westbrook, who raps under the name Donkey Cartel, was shot and killed Christmas Eve after allegedly opening fire during an argument in a Charlotte mall, and then pointing his gun at an undercover cop.

According to witnesses, Donkey was among two groups of men arguing in the Northlake Mall. Seven shots were fired during the altercation, which sent Christmas shoppers running from the mall and caught the attention of off-duty cop Thomas Ferguson.

According to investigators, Ferguson confronted Donkey and Cartel pointed his gun at the cop. So Ferguson fired his weapon, killing the 18-year old.

Police found multiple guns at the scene.

Cartel dropped a mixtape titled Convicted Felon With a Weapon in April, and was known for his song 'Can’t Be Touched.'

RIP.
