A couple of weeks ago, 50 Cent jumped on social and challenged former UFC champ Rampage Jackson to a fight for the sin of having the same last name as he does.
Fif did it the day after meeting with Bellator MMA President Scott Coker, suggesting the challenge was for real.
TMZ caught up with Rampage and asked him about 50's posturing. Here's what he said:
"50 probably drinking too much of that champagne that he got," Jackson stated. "Come on man. I think he's just talking. Who actually thinks 50 trying to fight ... I just don't feel like 50's trying to step in no cage with me."
I just look up one day and a bunch of people tagging me, in some post that he made. Then I got all my friends texting me and shit. That shit is annoying as fuck. Everybody blowing up my phone and tagging me in shit. Even got my family asking 'Are you fighting 50.' He ain't no fighter.
[He should] stay in his lane ... I'm a fighter, I ain't no bully or nothing. I don't got nothing to say to 50. I stay in my lane. I ain't trying to challenge him to no rap battles."
Did 50 commit a lane violation with his words to Rampage?
