Rae Sremmurd Fires Back At Ebro For Saying They Don't Write Their Raps

Late last year, Ebro got on the radio and said Rae Sremmurd doesn't write their own bars, and therefore don't deserve credit as a top Hip Hop act.

Ebro said he knew the pair used ghostwriters after they fled the studio when he asked them to freestyle. He also compared them to Kriss Kross, the backward-pants-wearing pop puppets from the 90s.

Sremmurd's producer Mike Will Made It -- whom Ebro suspected of writing their raps -- fired back and denied it.

Now, six months later,  Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy have responded to the Hot 97 host in an interview with Fader.

"It’s such a false statement," Swae Lee said of Ebro. "Where’d it come from? You pulled it out your ass. If you want to know who wrote my shit, go to my album credits."
