If you want to see R. Kelly's music videos better not head to his YouTube channels because they've been removed.
The decision came after the fallen singer was convicted of racketeering, sex trafficking, and other charges in a Brooklyn federal court last week.
"We can confirm that we have terminated two channels linked to R. Kelly in accordance with our creator responsibility guidelines,” said a YouTube spokesperson in a statement.
The two channels that have been removed are R. Kelly TV and R. Kelly Vevo, but people can still stream audio of his songs on YouTube.
"Egregious actions committed by R. Kelly warrant penalties beyond standard enforcement measures due to a potential to cause widespread harm,” wrote YouTube’s head of legal, Nicole Alston in a memo. "Ultimately we are taking this action to protect our users similar to other platforms."
