Quavo and Migos want to keep their issues with Joe Budden front and center.
Today, the Migos' IG page displayed the artwork for the Quavo and Lil Yachty track "Ice Tray," on which they spit the line "If a nigga hatin', call him Joe Budden (pussy)."
As you can see, it's Joe Budden clutching a rock. Just like he did when he notoriously went after Drake's suburban teenage"goons" back in the summer of 2016.
But that's not all. We reported a couple of days ago that Migos were casting Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks' lookalikes for an upcoming video.
This suggests they plan on spoofing the famous BET Awards interview during which Ak asked Takeoff about being left off of "Bad & Boujee" and then Budden offended the ATL boys -- and got them to front like they were about to attack --- by ending the chat early.
It looks like they found the lookalikes, with a hot fake Nedeska to boot.
Now that's Budden who posted the photo. He's having a whole lot of fun with this. And why wouldn't he? As he explained on Everyday Struggle earlier this week, all the attention The Migos are paying to him just validates his existence.
"I do think that somebody over there recognizes I've had a pretty decent year. This is attention seeking," Budden explained. "I just want to be very clear that "Mr. Irrelevant" himself has somehow found himself in a space where people I deem to be superstars are now using me and my platform to spread awareness."
Is Migos' Budden obsession getting awkward?
