Boosie Badazz advises young rappers to stay out of their hometowns for their own safety.
Quando Rondo may not have a choice.
Prosecutors want his bond updated so he is banned from Chatham County, Georgia (Savannah) because he keeps getting shot at in his hometown and poses a risk to the community
The state says Quando has been targeted by gunmen three times in Savannah since 2022, including a barbershop incident on September 20th in which two people were hit and 30 bullets fired.
Quando's current address is a rural area 30 miles outside the city, and prosecutors say he doesn't pose a risk to the community when he's out in the sticks.
A judge has yet to rule on the request to keep Rondo out of Savannah.
Earlier this year, Rondo was hit with two counts of conspiracy to violate Georgia's controlled substances law, one count of participating in criminal activity affiliated with a street gang, and one count of illegal use of a cell phone to facilitate a drug deal.
He doesn't have a trial date yet.
