When you think Pusha T, you think coke rap.
But you should really be thinking Madison Ave.
It turns out Push -- not Pharrell or Justin Timberlake -- wrote the once ubiquitous 'I'm Lovin' It' McDonald's commercial jingle.
Record exec turned marketing guru Steve Stoute revealed this while discussing his firm Translation on Ebro in the Morning.
Our first big thing was launching ‘I’m Lovin It’ for McDonalds, that was in 2004 [actually 2003]” Stoute said. “You know who did that? Pusha T. That’s crazy that Pusha T wrote the song for McDonald.”While a lot of folks have been surprised by this revelation, maybe they shouldn't have been that shocked. This sounds like Push rapping in one of the ad campaign's early spots.
