Project Pat Confirms Juicy J Isn't Working With Three 6 Mafia

by HHL Editors

In 2013, DJ Paul announced that he was reuniting five of the six members of the legendary crunk group Three 6 Mafia, who hadn't been heard from since their 2008 album 'Last 2 Walk.'

The one missing member was Juicy J, who was a pretty enormous part of the Memphis-based bands success. J's brother and fellow Three 6 Mafia member Project Pat spoke on J still not being a part of the reunion in a new interview with Vlad TV.

"Paul’s got a group called Da Mafia 6ix. He’s just saying that it’s the old group members forming a different clique. Kind of like how Tear Da Club Up Thugs was Juicy, Paul and Lord Infamous,” said Pat. “He’s trying to keep the Three 6 Mafia reunion situation hyped up or whatever but no, J’s not going to be part of it."
Pat also addressed rumors that Crunchy was kicked out of Three 6 Mafia back in the day. He said they were untrue, and Crunchy left because the pressure of the group winning an Oscar for their 2006 hit 'It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp' became to much for him to bear.

Crunchy is back and involved in Paul's Da Mafia 6ix. However, the group has lost two members since 2013; Gangsta Boo left earlier this year and Lord Infamous sadly died of a heart attack in December of 2013.. Check out the whole Project Pat interview below.
