Producer RedOne Comments after Nicki Minaj' Says She's Done With 'Stupid' 'Starships'

"Starships" is one of Nicki Minaj's biggest hits.

But you won't being hearing her performing it live in this post-2023 world.

During a New Year's Eve show, Nicki cut the track off in the middle and declared she was done with it forever.

"I don’t perform that song no more, y’all. I don’t like it. What y’all want me to do? It’s a stupid song," Nicki said.

RedOne produced the track.  When asked about Nicki's comment on their project, he was gracious.

“I have the utmost respect for Nicki Minaj and I love her work very much. I will always respect an artist's wishes... I feel very proud to have made that record with her along with the global success it made," he told TMZ.
