Last week, Young Thug's lawyers filed an emergency motion claiming Thugger is being held in inhuman and "torturous" conditions in the Fulton County Jail, where he awaits trial for RICO and gang activity.
So much so, that they argued his constitutional rights are being violated.
The motion revealed that Thug was being held in isolation in a windowless cement compartment with only a bed and a toilet and an overhead light that never turns off. They also complained about his lack of internet or any kind of access to media, and restrictions that don't allow him to shave or exercise. In the motion, they slam the food he gets as "inedible".
Jail officials have responded to the complaint, arguing what he is describing are "typical" "above the board" jail conditions.
"This is a jail, it is a detention center. It’s not the Ritz Carlton, so you have to recognize that," said one prison official.
Thug was denied bail, so he needs to get used to his harsh conditions.
