Post Malone Explains Why His Face Tattoos Are Sign of Insecurity

Post Malone has been accumulating face tattoos about as quickly as he's racking up hits. 

His latest, as far as we can tell, are a medieval gauntlet and ball and chain and a bloody buzzsaw blade.

In an interview with GQ, Post explained why he keeps getting face ink.

“I’m an ugly-ass muthaf*cka,” Post admitted. “It does maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don’t like how I look, so I’m going to put something cool on there so I can look at myself and say, ‘You look cool, kid,’ and have a modicum of self-confidence when it comes to my appearance.”

The 24-year old has quickly posted three mega-hit multi-platinum albums and he plans to drop a fourth this year, so that should also do something for his confidence.
