Post Malone's sophomore album Beerbongs & Bentleys was supposed to drop yesterday.
It didn't, obviously, and Post jumped on Twitter to explain why.
It sounds like it's going to be a matter of months, not weeks, until we get the project.
When it does drop, Beerbongs & Bentleys should have a big opening. Its lead single "Rockstar" has been number one for seven weeks and has racked up a ton of streams.
"Rockstar"'s influence is such that Post's year-old debut album Stoney has been flirting with the top five in recent weeks.
On the negative side of the ledger, Postie's comments about modern Hip Hop lacking emotional depth has offended many fans of the genre and bolstered the Post-as-Kid-Rock narrative.
A few days ago, Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg told Post to "either leave Hip Hop and go make music in another genre or start showing respect for Hip Hop."
Do you think Post is here to stay?
