The attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida was the deadliest mass shooting in US history and the deadliest terrorist attack on US soil since 9-11.
Omar Mateen, who had pledged allegiance to ISIL, killed 49 people and wounded 52 during the June 12, 2016 incident.
His rampage ended when he was killed by police officers.
