Pusha T claims his upcoming It’s Not Dry Yet album will be the best of 2022.
Half of the production of the album will be handled by Push's old friends the Neptunes, and the other half his newer friend Kanye.
In addition to getting behind the boards, Pharrell provided motivation for Push by telling his Virginia Beach bro that he risked becoming a mixtape rapper.
Push explained how that went while promoting a feature he did on Bape founder Nigo's I Know Nigo album.
“Fun Fact: @pharrell heard this song and told me ‘it’s cool, but I don’t want you to be a mixtape rapper for the rest of your life,'” Pusha T explained. “I was devastated. He then flew me to Miami and proceeded to produce the first half of the best album of the year. Moral of the story…always “push” your friends to be greater, even when they’re the greatest.”
It's Not Dry should drop sometime before summer.
