Last month, Paul Pierce got fired from ESPN in spectacular fashion.
He spent his Friday night drinking with strippers and escorts during a "poker night." The worldwide leader had him clear out his desk on Monday.
Everyone figured that Pierce went out in a blaze of glory because he already had something else lined up, perhaps with Barstool Sports. Pierce suggests that much when he Tweeted out "big things are coming" after his dismissal.
However, so far things have been quiet on the Pierce front.
He did use Twitter today to take a shot at his old employer.
.@espn I don’t need you. I got @ethereum_max I made more money with this crypto in the past month then I did with y’all in a year. TRUTH shall set u Free 🤪🤪 my own Bosshttps://t.co/3irnuWYve3 check it out for yourself

"@espn I don’t need you," Pierce. "I got @ethereum_max. I made more money with this crypto in the past month then I did with y’all in a year. TRUTH shall set u Free. my own Boss."
Do you think riding the crypto train like everyone else with a RobinHood account and a Reddit handle is while getting some bonus money because he has a lot of Twitter followers is what Pierce meant by "big things?"
