The trial of Justin Johnson, who is accused of murdering Young Dolph, began this week.
Prosecutors say Yo Gotti's brother, the late Big Jook, offered three men 100K and a possible record contract if they took Dolph out.
Cornelius Smith, who is also facing charges related to Dolph's killing, testified that he participated in the murder of Dolph, who was gunned down in front of a Memphis cookie shop in 2021
However, Smith didn't get the money he thought he was getting for the crime.
He was under the impression that he and Johnson would get 40K each while Hernandez Govan, the man prosecutors say was the mastermind behind the killing, would get 20K
Instead, Smith was paid $800 for killing Dolph.
Not a good business model.
