Drake's Goon Threatened The Weeknd For Being At Kendrick Lamar's 'Pop Out' Show

by Daryl Nelson

The Weeknd needs to watch his back.

After the former OVO associate attended Kendrick Lamar's anti-Drake Pop Out show in Los Angeles, Toronto rapper Top5 had some harsh words for Abel.

"@theweeknd you started doing coke now [you're] from Compton?" wrote Top5. "Wait till my GGs see you."

The underground rapper has been associated with Drake since being mentioned in Drake's 2016 song "Grammys."

But he dissociated himself from OVO last month, accusing the label of not doing anything for Toronto street dudes. Later, though, Top5  admitted to trolling Drake with the message.

As for The Weeknd, he dissed Drake on Future and Metro Boomin's We Still Don't Trust You album, so him showing up to the Pop Out show was probably just too much for Top5.

But Top, real name Hassan Ali, is now in jail on a first-degree murder charge and is awaiting trial. So, that's why he said his "GGs" would handle The Weeknd and not him.

Should The Weeknd be worried?
