Old Head Eight Trays Explain Nipsey Hussle Was Killed For Forgetting Rules Of Streets

by HHL JT

Tuesday will mark the one year anniversary of Nipsey Hussle's death.

In the new BBC documentary  The Mysterious Murder Of Nipsey Hussle, a couple of old head Eight Tray Crips explain that Nip was gunned down because he got sloppy and arrogant and forgot the rules of the street.

“Nipsey was stupid, he was stupid. He didn’t have, his gang didn’t protect him and they wasn’t going to protect him when he got that money," said Eight-Tray gang member Sedrick, who also runs a book and herbs shop. “It’s too risky, there’s too many dudes that aren’t gonna like you… Nipsey for one, he should have never been at that store without security. He thought he was untouchable."

Sedrick also addressed the rumor, which has been confirmed by court transcripts, that Nipsey called his alleged killer Eric Holder a "snitch" multiple times before Holder shot him to death.

“That’s the worst thing you can say," Sedrick explained. “You gotta go kill that n*gga man, I’ll call you if you call me a snitch and I ain’t a snitch.”

“It’s the equivalent of being called a child molester, that’s the level that’s on,” a fellow gang member chimed in.

Wack 100 kicked off much controversy last year when he said Holder's offing of Nip was the proper street move.  It seems like at least two other old heads agree.

Last March, LA rapper Nipsey Hussle was murdered. @BenjaminZand speaks to the rapper's childhood friend Kenyatta Griggs about how such a respected community figure could suffer a fate like that.
