Run DMC DJ Jam Master Jay was murdered outside of a recording studio in his hometown of Queens on October 30th, 2002.
It looks like he may finally be getting some justice.
Early Sunday morning, the NYPD and the Feds arrested Karl Jordan, Jr. Later today, they will formally announce an indictment against Jordan and Ronald Washington -- who's currently serving an unrelated Federal sentence for robbery -- for the murder of Jay while engaged in drug trafficking.
It is believed that Jay was involved in the financing of a drug trafficking operation and things went left.
“There was a beef — it didn’t go as planned,” one official told the New York Times.
Washington, 56, had long been a suspect in the killing. Jordan, 36, had previously gone to prison for shooting Jay's nephew.
