Cardi B is pretty easy to taunt and if you diss her or send a shot, she'll more than likely respond. Just ask the musician and radio host Nya Lee, who got into a nasty spat with Cardi on social media about a month ago, and just posted those private messages yesterday.
Nya said that she didn't care for Cardi's delivery, which the Bronx rapper responded to through DM. Cardi then blasted the radio host for begging to be on a song with her and then talking smack.
But Nya didn't take back her words about Cardi's flow and said she should be able to give an opinion without it causing drama. She also had something to say about the "Bodak Yellow" spitter using a ghostwriter.
"How many songs you sold that you wrote?" Cardi shot back. "How far did the songs you wrote got you?"
Afterward, there was more name calling and threats exchanged, and it doesn't seem like this has been resolved at all. Nya explained that she was reluctant to publicly reveal the argument but felt compelled to.
"You know I spent hours fighting with myself on whether or not to even address this," she wrote. "It’s just so troubling to me that the same people we praise for women empowerment are the same ones tearing others up and coming female artists down. The media often times brushes things under the rug for their favs but this literally hurt me to my soul and I really understand now what It feels like to be attacked by the same artist you cheered on."
Why do you think Cardi gets into these kinds of beefs so much? You can read some of the argument below.
