Now We May Know Why Meek Mill & Nicki Minaj's Husband Almost Threw Down

On Friday, Meek Mill got into an angry confrontation with Nicki Minaj and her new husband Kenny Petty at a high-end clothing boutique in LA.

According to sources who spoke to TMZ, Meek started the altercation -- which stayed verbal -- by staring down Petty. (Meek says it was the other way around.)

Their sources added that Meek is still obsessed with Nicki and baffled by her man choice. 

Meek did seem to allow James Harden to preview an unreleased track last March in which Mill raps  "This s**t beyond me, you was supposed to be my Beyoncé, now you this n*gga's fiance?!"

At the time, Meek denied those bars were about Nicki.  But it's a little hard to believe they'd be about someone else.
