N.O.R.E called into The Breakfast Club this week and talked about wanting to face Beanie Sigel in Verzuz. He also said that people still haven't forgiven the Philly rapper for dissing Jay-Z years ago, although they've since made up.
Of course, Beanie was on Jay, Dame Dash and Kareem Burke's Roc-A-Fella Records, where he released his debut album The Truth in 2000. But Beanie and Jay eventually had a falling out, and the State Property leader began dissing him in a series of songs, like on 2009's “Average Cat."
"A lot of people still don't forgive Beans for dissing a god of Hip Hop, let's just be clear," said N.O.R.E. during his phone call. "He made five, six records dissing the god. He should have made five, six records apologizing."
Any reaction to N.O.R.E.'s comments?
