Drake's producer and right hand man Noah '40' Shebib is now famous enough to be profiled in the New York Times.
In the piece, 40 talks about the upcoming Drake album Views From The 6, which will be dropping some time in April.
"I just make 50 ideas in one day,' Mr. Shebib of working with Drake. "As soon as one of those ideas gets his attention, we start heading that way."He went on to say that Drake's last two projects -- the mixtapes If You're Reading This Its Too Late and What A Time To Be Alive -- were made primarily for rap fans. But he knows that Views will have to "satisfy" a broader audience.
And how will they accomplish this?
"It's going to be what everybody expects and wants from Drake and from us," Shebib said of Views. "A lot of introspection, very vivid. He’s discovering new flows, new cadences, new patterns ... "I'm trying to find ways to pull more untraditional sounds in, to push the boundaries a little further."
