NLE Choppa Explains Why He's The Michael Jackson Of Hip Hop

by Daryl Nelson

NLE Choppa's show in Canada this past weekend went so well that he dubbed himself the new Michael Jackson.

"NEWFOUNDLAND CANADA SOLD OUT SOLO/DOLO!!!" wrote Choppa on Instagram, according to AllHipHop. "PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY NAME. I AM THE GREATEST OF MY GENERATION ... YALL GOTTA CATCH UP IM AHEAD OF THE PACK IM ONLY 21 SELLING OUT ARENAS !! DONT PLAY WITH ME. I MIGHT AS WELL SAY HEEEHEEE ROUND HERE IM ON MY Y MJ !!!"

He then compared himself to the King of Pop again while captioning some concert footage.

"Micheal Jackson Of Hip Hop. Point Blank Period 🤷🏽‍♂️," Choppa wrote.

In related news, Michael's brother, Tito Jackson, just passed away at 70 years old. His sons Taj, Taryll, and TJ broke the news a few hours ago on Instagram.

As for Choppa's M.J. comparison, it might be related to him not being named in Complex's recent list of the 20 best rappers in their 20s. He went off about it a couple of days ago.
