NLE Choppa Defends Kyrie Irving Amid Heavy Backlash

Basketball just isn't a big deal to Kyrie Irving.

That's what ESPN's Stephen A. Smith said after Irving hasn't played in the Brooklyn Nets' last five games. Irving was seen partying without a mask at his sister Asia's birthday party during his absence while saying he needed time away for personal reasons. Smith also said that Irving should retire.

“Kyrie Irving has not prioritized basketball, but I’m not saying he doesn’t want to play all together," said Smith on ESPN’s First Take Wednesday. "I’m saying he hasn’t prioritized it, and how fair was that to the Brooklyn Nets?"

NLE Chopper came to the point guard's defense soon after on Twitter.

"They hate kyrie Irving cause he ain’t a puppet mane f*ck y’all," tweeted Choppa, who recently accused 300 Entertainment of letting Famous Dex be addicted to drugs.
