Eric Holder, the guy who shot Nipsey Hussle to death, has been locked up and awaiting trial for almost two years.
What's keeping him inside is his bail of $6.5 million.
Earlier this week, Holder's lawyers asked for a bail reduction. They argued the bail was too high given that Holder only had one previous felony conviction -- in 2012 for carrying a concealed firearm. They also say he's not a flight risk because he has no passport and has ties to the community, including a father who's a government worker.
They request a reduction to $4 million. The judge hasn't ruled yet, but the motion suggests Holder could make $4 million in bail.
Do you think he'd be safe out on the streets?
