After police captured Nipsey Hussle suspect Eric Holder outside of a mental health facility yesterday he was sent straight to protective custody.
His bail, which is set at $7,040,000, will ensure that he stays there for a while
Mental health will almost certainly be a big part of Holder's defense. Sources have told The Blast that Holder has been treated for mental health issues before. He also has a significant rap sheet, including weapons arrests and a domestic violence incident that resulted in anger management counseling. His longest bid was six months in LA County.
Given his mental health issues and his rumored history of cooperation with the police, Holder may be able to serve out what is sure to be a long sentence in some sort of protective custody.
Which would be a blow to all of those hoping to avenge Nipsey's death.
