In 1995, Nicki Minaj's now-husband Kenny Petty pled guilty to attempted rape after being accused of rape.
The victim, Jennifer Hough, is now speaking on the attack.
“I don’t know why it didn’t dawn on me to, like, really fight,” Hough told The Real while crying. “I just held on to my pants, and he’d hold my arms down. He squeezed the sides of my stomach so hard, and so I’d let go and as soon as I let go he’d grab my pants.”
After Petty was done raping her, he looked in the mirror, beat his chest, and said. “I’m the man, I’m the man.”
They were both 16 and the time, and Petty (and later Nicki) claimed they were in a relationship.
Hough, who reported the rape to the police shortly after it happened, said that was not the case.
“We were never in a relationship,” Hough said. “We never talked on the phone, we never hung out together. I just knew him from the neighborhood.”
She also suggested Nicki sent threats her way to try to make her recant what happened.
"Woman to woman, this really happened. And I haven't spoken to her since," Hough said of Nicki. "Them sending people to negotiate numbers as far as money is concerned with family members, and Nicki is the one that personally reached out to me. In regards to helping her, helping them and this situation. And then the threats that I received...the last text that I received was about how I should have taken the money because they're going to use the money to put on my head."
Last month, Hough sued Nick and Kenny, claiming constant harassment.
