Nicki Minaj wasn't able to go to the Met Gala tonight because she tested positive for COVID.
Even if she hadn't been sick with the Rona, the Gala is requiring attendees to be vaccinated for COVID, which she isn't.
Nicki's explanation for why she hasn't been vaccinated has led to many a joke.
My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied

Twitter is having fun with that:

It’s pretty simple: don’t take COVID vaccine advice from Nicki Minaj and don’t ask your doctor to twerk. 🤔https://t.co/FWhIcIhoKk

I went out for a walk and came back and now my entire twitter feed is debating the efficacy of covid vaccines because Nicki Minaj’s cousin in Trinidad friends balls got swollen. Am I reading this right?

My cousins friend took two doses each of both Pfizer and Moderna. A month later, he got accepted into Harvard and Yale. Here's the thing, he never applied, the microchip did it on its own. He's a doctor now.
