Nicki Minaj Might've Just Ripped Ice Spice For Not Signing To Her Label

by Daryl Nelson

Nicki Minaj owns a record label called Heavy On It.

She recently spoke about it on StationHead, blasting those who signed with white-owned label instead of linking up with her.

Here’s audio of Nicki Minaj rambling about the rap girls preferring to sign to a reputable label instead of her non money making label, HOI.

"Motherf*cker, tell somebody they don’t want to sign with Heavy On It, but then they’ll go and sign with the white peoples," said Nicki. "And guess who the white peoples finna call? Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty. They always get the attention of the Barbz."

There's a chance that Nicki could be talking about Ice Spice since there was a rumor last year the Bronx rapper signed to Heavy On It. But she inked a deal with Virgin Records instead.

Plus, the two women had a falling out, which Ice discussed in an interview with Rolling Stone last month.

So, Nicki — who recently unfollowed Ice on Instagram — was asked about their relationship on Stationhead.

"Don’t ask me about nobody please," she answered. "[If] you don’t see someone around me, [then] go and talk to them. Leave us alone."

Would you say that Ice dodged a bullet by not signing with Nicki?
