Nicki Minaj has been called out by The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) after she posted a video of a woman who seemed ill.
According to TMZ, Queen Barbz was in Miami when she spotted the the woman and began to film her.
"What you said?" Nicki asked, after the lady screamed something at her. She then tried to get the woman to come over to her vehicle and talk. "What did I do?" asked the Young Money member. She then began laughing.Right away, some people thought Nicki was making fun of the woman, and the folks at NAMI believed so as well. "Nobody would make fun of a cancer patient, and mental illness is an illness like any other," said a rep.
NAMI also blasted The Pinkprint rhymer for posting the video to her 70 million followers and accused her of influencing them negatively.
Many of Nicki's fans, however, stuck up for her and said she didn't do anything wrong.
"The joke funny, 'cause all ya'll would have been sucking Nicki dick, and this lady don't care who Nicki is," one person wrote. "She ain't with the shits. I don't think Nicki laughing at her condition at all.""There's nothing wrong with this video," wrote another. "Social media always talking crap. Don't delete it."
For now, Ms. Minaj hasn't deleted the video, nor has she responded to any of the backlash. What do you think? Was it wrong for the "Anaconda" spitter to post the video of that woman in the first place?
