You surely know the story of Geoffrey Owens.
The actor who played Elvin on The Cosby Show took a job at Trader Joe's when the Cosby residuals stopped coming in. Somebody shamed him by snapping a photo of him doing his grocery story duties. That lead to an outpouring of support for Owens.
During all that, Nicki Minaj pledged to give Owens 25K. According to TMZ, that hasn't happened and neither Nicki -- who has a history of pledging people money on social media -- nor her team has even contacted Owens.
Owens, who's always been a working actor, will likely donate the money to charity if he gets it. Since getting "exposed" he snagged a ten episode arc on Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots and a guest starring gig on NCIS: New Orleans.
Nicki's album Queen didn't do as well as expected, and she has pushed back all of the dates on her upcoming North America tour.
