Nicki Minaj unleashed a social media rant after a number of young rappers on Jermaine Dupri's show The Rap Game said she didn't influence them.
It all went down during a Q&A that took place on the show, and one woman said she'd be confused if the young rappers named Nicki as an influence.
"My question is for the ladies," the woman began. "I wouldn't say Nicki would be your example. Or you tell me if she's your example, because I got a question after that if you tell me that's who you looking up to."
Nicki watched the clip and clapped back on Instagram.
"Look @ the hate & bitterness on this BLACK woman’s face when someone says they’re influence is the most dominating female rapper of the last decade chile," wrote Nicki, who just got married. "ALL OF YOU GIRLS DO THIS. SO SAD. Even male artists gotta pretend in interviews now chile. LMFAO. If you’re this weak-minded you won’t last in this game anyway. This is what’s going on behind the scenes @ award shows, radio shows, etc. They gotta say they was influenced by ppl who was rappin b4 they was born chile. Anything but those 10 little letters on a big sign. N I C K I M I N A J."
The young femcees in the clip named Rah Digga, Queen Latifah and Remy Ma as influences.
