Trae The Truth's crew attacked his former collaborator Z-Ro during 50 Cent's Tycoon Weekend in Houston.
After the initial video of the incident dropped, Trae downplayed the violence.
."It wasn’t no 7-on-1 situation. It wasn’t no blindside ambush. That’s not what this is. This is family business, internal stuff that’s been going on for 10, 15 years that’s probably been building up and just spilled over into sh*t.”
New video of the attack has since dropped, and it makes Trae look less than truthful.
While Trae is correct that it wasn't 7-on-1, it looks to be 5-on-1, and Trae -- who's in the orange -- gets some punches and kicks in. One of Trae's goons appears to snatch Z-Ro's chain in the jumping.
Nevertheless, Z-Ro downplayed the incident.
"I thought it was going to be words exchanged," Z said about the incident. "I thought it was going to be the conversation we needed to have for the last decade ... People just grow apart. It was about 2012 it just stopped. I never said anything to him. It wasn't no beef. It's just people grow apart. It wasn't no argument ... There's a lot people upset about this. But strangely I'm not upset. I think people on the streets are taking this harder than I am," Z said. "
