Last month, NBA YoungBoy was arrested after a dramatic guns-drawn U.S. Marshals raid of his Austin, Texas show.
There were no details on the arrest at the time, other than that it was for an out-of-state felony. Now we know why they came in with such heavy artillery.
The 17-year old Baton Rogue emcee -- who also goes by YoungBoy Never Broke Again -- is being charged with attempted first degree murder. He's being held on a $200,000 bond at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
There are no further details on the crime.
YoungBoy has a pretty good Youtube following, and his mixtape 38 Baby featured fellow Baton Roguer's Boosie Badazz and Kevin Gates.
YoungBoy had been fond of flashing guns on social media, but now his pages mostly show him making fake guns with his hands.
Here's video of the Austin arrest.
