Master P said earlier this month that J. Cole wants to try out for the NBA, which has Dave East thinking about basketball again.
The Detroit Pistons then got word of Cole's supposed hoop dreams and invited him to a tryout.
Former NBA player Larry Sanders recently chopped it up with TMZ about Cole and said he has a real chance of making it into the league. That's despite the rapper being 35 years old and never playing for his St. John's basketball team.
"I do [think he has a chance] for real," said Sanders about the 6'2" Cole. "I've seen him hoop before in some games. I know he took the game seriously when he was younger and he always rapped about it. So that's dope. I'm excited to see that. You always see guys crossover from the NBA to music, but you don't see guys crossover from music to the NBA. So this will be dope if he accomplishes this."
Why do you believe that Cole hasn't spoken about this alleged NBA dreams?
