Nav Says He's Hated Because Of His Physical Apparence

Nav is a fairly popular recording artist.

His Demons Protected By Angels album just debuted at number 2 with a 67K first week.

But the Canadian singer and rapper believes he also has haters.  And he thinks that hate stems from how he looks.   [Jump to 33 minutes.]

“The way I look, bro that’s gotta be it, bro” Nav said when Speed Mormon asked him why he's hated. “They’re just tight. Yo bro, If I was some light-skinned dude with tattoos, the whole look, NBA 2K player looking type of dude bro, and I saw me, getting more money and having more fun, and getting more bitches, and clout, and whatever I’d hate me too. The f*ck? I get it though. I'm very self aware."

He went on to say that his label initially promoted him without photos, so people assumed he was Black and not South Asian.  

Some people, he believes, had trouble adjusting when they saw the real him.
