Nas's venture capital game remains strong.
His Queensbridge Venture Partners group just played a role in selling Pluto TV, which offers more than 100 streamable TV channels in all genres of entertainment, to media giant Viacom for $340 million.
Queensbridge Ventures was one of nine early investors who participated in a $13 million Series A funding of Pluto TV in November of 2014.
We don't have information on how much of Pluto Queensbridge owned. (Likely a few percent). But it's safe to say Queensbridge's take is well into the millions.
This is the third major deal for Queensbridge Venture in the past 12 months. In February of 2017, it was reported Queensbridge made $40 million when Amazon bought smart doorbell company Ring for a billion dollars and last summer they got an undisclosed amount when Amazon purchased door-to-door pharmacy service PillPack for another billion.
