Nappy Roots Rapper Fish Scales Robbed, Shot & Kidnapped In Atlanta

Fish Scales, from the Kentucky rap group Nappy Roots, went through a harrowing experience in Atlanta on Wednesday, August 17.

11Alive reports that he was robbed, kidnapped and shot at the Nappy Roots' Atlantucky Brewing. It happened when two criminals robbed a customer in the parking lot of the business, then went inside to where Scales was. 

The robbers made him get into their vehicle after that, where he was shot in the leg. Fortunately for Scales, he was able to escape before being taken to a hospital.

"I am certainly relieved that my business partner and brother Scales is safe and recovering. That is what is most important," said Skinny of the Nappy Roots. "We are certainly also praying for the patron who was shot outside the establishment."

Besides Scales, Boosie Badazz has been robbed in Atlanta, along with Conway the Machine, and T.I.'s wife Tiny.

At this time, no arrests have been made in the Scales incident.
