Mr. Vegas Accuses Drake Of Being A Dancehall 'Fake'

Despite this, dancehall artists were barely featured or credited on the album. In fact, Popcaan's verse on the leaked version of 'Controlla' was cut out of the LP version.

This all has dancehall legend Mr. Vegas irked at Drake.

"Drake the fake is just running with the hot genre right now," Mr Vegas says, as he explains in a Facebook video how Drake stole Jamaica's sound without properly crediting and respecting the island and its artists.

He continued on that theme in a Hot 97 interview this morning.

It's not the first time Drake has been accused of being a callous culture vulture.
