Morgan Wallen Speaks On His Love Of Rap

Morgan Wallen had the biggest and best-selling album of 2021.

The country star was also "cancelled" for most of the year after getting caught on tape calling his white friend a "pussy ass n*gger" during a drunken play fight.

As part of his comeback, he hooked up with Lil Durk for the track "Broadway Girls," which is currently number one on the R&B/Hip Hop charts.

During a new interview with Good Morning America, Wallen spoke on his love of rap -- which is the country star's favorite genre -- and desire to work with his fellow Tennesseean Moneybagg Yo.

“I do love Moneybagg. He’s definitely at the top of the list. … But, like overall, ever…I’m trying to think of not just in the past little bit…Kendrick Lamar would be pretty cool.”

“Moneybagg is probably my favorite. And I listened to a lot of Young Dolph—RIP. I listened to Drake’s new album. I listen to Kanye. … I’ve been listening to a little bit of Gunna. I like him pretty good.”
