Joevon “Jigg” Wilder was one of the more popular rappers on the Milwaukee scene and Marcell “Celly Cell” Hendrix was an up-and-coming spitter in the Midwestern city.
They are both dead after a shooting in North Milwaukee earlier this week.
Police have yet to announce any suspects in the double murder.
The family of Jigg, who scored a regional hit with 2017's "No Hook", told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal the 26-year-old father had been planning to leave town and pursue his rap career elsewhere.
