Mike Tyson Speaks On Beating Up A Man On An Airplane For The First Time

by Daryl Nelson

Mike Tyson has broken his silence on the video of him beating up a man on a JetBlue flight last month.

Tyson said he now regrets taking a commercial flight, while confirming that Townsend started the whole thing. That could be why the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office didn't press charges. [Jump to the 20:08 mark]

"They said they ain’t gonna pick up charges,”said Tyson on his Hotboxin' podcast. “He was f*cking with me, man. I shouldn’t even be taking public planes. My wife gets mad [that] I take public planes.”

Do you think that a non-celebrity would escape charges like Tyson if he or she was in the same situation?
