20 years ago yesterday, Allen Iverson did this to Michael Jordan.
The Answer discussed the notorious crossover on Jemele Hill and Michael Smith's show SC6.
When asked about whether he's ever spoken to MJ about the move, Iverson said that he had.
"I live in Charlotte, so I went to a Charlotte [Hornets] game. "Jordan was in the back, so we was talking and I was telling him how much I loved him and admired him and telling him how much he was my hero. And he was like, 'Well, I couldn’t have been a hero to you if you crossed me like that,'" Iverson said, after choosing it as his favorite move over the Lue step over.While MJ's comment would be friendly banter for most people, the GOAT is a pathological competitor who during his Hall of Fame speech took the time to go after his high school basketball for not playing him as a sophomore.
So, yeah, still salty.
