Method Man Says He's Never Been Paid For Streams

It would be easy for one to assume that Method Man gets big royalty checks for his songs being streamed.

But that's not the case. 

"Honestly, I've never gotten a streaming check for any of my music," he said on Hot 97. "I'm still trying to figure it all out."

Snoop Dogg is another A-list rapper who has talked about being bilked out of streaming royalties. He once said that he was only paid $45K for 1 billion streams.

"I don’t know who the f*ck is running the streaming industry if you in here or not?" said Snoop at the 2023 Milken Institute Global Conference. "But you need to give us some information on how the f*ck to track this money down, because one plus one ain’t adding up to two."
