In the "Diamonds From Sierra Leone Remix", JAY-Z famously declared that his-then protege Memphis Bleek would always be rich, even if he never rapped again.
"Bleek could be one hit away his whole career/As long as I'm alive, he's a millionaire/And even if I die, he's in my will somewhere/So he can just kick back and chill somewhere, oh yeah/He don't even have to write rhymes," Jay rapped.
It turns out the Hov retirement plan wasn't all it's cracked up to be: Bleek declared bankruptcy a few years ago.
Perhaps that's why Bleek may be ready to rhyme again.
"Thinking bout putting some bars down," Bleek typed.
We haven't heard from Memphis since the 2014 mixtape The Movement 2.
Ya think he can rekindle his career?
