Memphis Bleek Declares Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

by HHL Editors

It's looking bleak for Memphis Bleek.

According to Bossip, the 38-year old filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy earlier this year, and only has $100 in cash to his name.

In his filings, Bleek declared $384,804.91 in liabilities against $274,190 in assets.

The totality of his assets are his Keyport, NJ home, worth $250,000, a 2014 Chevy Impala valued at $14,000, $2,970 in household goods, $2000 in clothing, $5000 in jewelry (his wife's wedding ring), $120 in pictures and books and that $100 in cash.

Bleek has scored three Gold albums in his career, but hasn't released an LP since 2005's 534.

2005 was also the year Bleek's childhood friend Jay Z famously insured Bleek's financial future on the 'Diamonds From Sierra Leone Remix.'

Bleek could be one hit away his whole career/As long as I'm alive, he's a millionaire/And even if I die, he's in my will somewhere/So he can just kick back and chill somewhere, oh yeah/He don't even have to write rhymes," Hov rapped.
We guess things change.
